Haathi Spirtual Journey

What is a Haathi Spiritual Journey?

Peaceful calm dark skinned female model

Set 1: Meditation

A Haathi Spiritual Journey is an endurance challenge of the body, mind and spirit. We have taken the format of a triathlon, 3 sports into 1 and applied it to our own spiritual journey. We found this to be incredibly transformational for us during this trying time of uncertainty and social distancing. From our own struggle to stay present and productive, a new event was born into existence, the Haathi Spiritual Journey.

Set 1: Meditation

We begin with a active meditation led by Dr. Shweta Oza. This meditation can be described as easy and impactful. You will feel an ability to focus and let go.

Set 2: Breathe Work

We begin a guided breathe work session with a lesson in the different types and rhythms of breathing we are to experience on this part of the journey. Led by Gina Avellan. The breathe work experience is an avenue to the inner playground. You will move out of the beta brain waves to the alpha and theta waves, all through music and breathe.

Set 3: Yoga & Journaling

Our final practice in this spiritual journey is more physical and incorporates the practice of yoga and journaling. We will begin with setting a journaling intention, what you would like to invite or let go in your life at this time. This can be a personal intention of a global one, the manifestation is yours. Once our intentions are set Bonnie  will guide us on a mat yoga practice with breaks during the postures to journal, lowing the blood to flow from your heart, brain and hand.

Transition: Being in Community

Athletic Woman

We like to call the in between times, transition. Just like in a triathlon you transition from the swim to the bike and to the run in community with other athletes, here you transition in community with those on this spiritual journey too. These times are spent in break-out rooms for intimate conversation and to reflect on the shared experience of the previous set.
